For all pilots to reference the pilot requirements/limitations and operating procedures. All pilots should have an updated version to stay up to date with current rules and regulations.

This is the Bible of Aviation where all the questions are answered about the rules and the regulations. These are the requirements to get a pilot license and the operations that keep us all safe in the skies.

This is typically introduced to the pilot after learning how to fly the basic maneuvers is achieved. It is a big scary looking book and it is slowly intruded to the student as pilot requirements and operating procedures need to be more clear. This book is studied It is also typically referenced.

This book should always be close by to reference as needed. It is probably the most important book for pilots throughout your flying career.

Although this is a monsterous and scary looking book, there is only a small portion that needs to be used by the sport pilot applicant. The key is what to study in such a thick book. The “Sport Pilot Checkride” book references to the areas that you need to know so this is your key to understanding what you need to know in the FAR/AIM book.
